Nike Launches New Maternity Fitness Collection

Nike recently announced their first maternity fitness collection. This new line has a small selection of solid colors that provides form and functionality. For example, check out their new sports bra for nursing, which can be adjusted as your breast size changes, by moving the slider on the back of the bra. For some soon-to-be moms who love to exercise, finding stylish maternity workout clothes that offer support and function can be very challenging and expensive.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), pregnant women should aim to get 30 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic physical activity, for five days a week or 150 minutes each week (CDC, 2020). Moreover, women who were already exercising prior to their pregnancy can usually continue with vigorous-intensity physical activity, such as running during and after their pregnancy. However, always make sure your doctor approves any form of exercise performed during pregnancy.

Nike is currently offering a twenty percent discount (click on the promotions link on their site) for military members, medical professionals, and students. Check out their new maternity fitness collection here and don’t forget to wear your mask! Namaste!
